of charm and tranquility. Pacific EcoVentures Inc. has over fifteen
years of experience hosting adventure travel packages in British Columbia.
Our programs are offered through several marketing channels including:
- Elderhostel Inc, for those aged 55 and over, and
- Routes to Learning Canada, for all ages.
EcoVentures programs offer you new and exciting experiences while visiting
beautiful and interesting places. We add new dimension to your adventures
with us through guided interpreted field trips and interactive encounters
with professionals who are passionate about their subjects.
EcoVentures has created a network of professionals all experts in their
fields and from all regions of BC. Our program themes are built around
BC’s magnificent natural environment, attractions, fascinating
history and our team of experts.
Program themes range from Lighthouses of Georgia Strait, Agri-Culinary
Gourmet Adventure, Gardens of BC, Fur Trails & Gold Rush Routes,
to Vancouver Island by Train. While all our programs offer days of glorious
scenery, fascinating history, warm and sincere hospitality, we specialize
in history and cultural themes of British Columbia.

Our mission is to serve you, the traveler, interested in experiencing
an interactive adventure learning experience in British Columbia, Canada
by researching, planning and hosting specialty programs and packages
focused on themes of interest within our region. Packages and programs
are sensitive to community, ecological, cultural and historic interests
and issues.
Your comfort, safety and the quality of your experience are the motivating
factors in our operational structure and our research, planning, and
delivery efforts. To this end, EcoVentures and our contracted suppliers
have met and exceeded all regulatory and insurance requirements and
expectations. For your protection, your funds are placed in Trust until
the suppliers of your program are paid for their services.
Pacific EcoVentures Inc. has operated under the name EcoVentures researching,
planning and hosting travel learning experiences marketed through Elderhostel
Inc. for 12 years.
Routes to Learning Canada, formerly Elderhostel Canada, markets educational
travel programs for Canadians and visitors. Some EcoVentures programs
are marketed with Routes to Learning Canada.
EcoVentures is a founding member of Adventures BC Travel Co-operative,
a British Columbia Travel Agent\Wholesaler registered # 24650. EcoVentures
programs are marketed generically under this umbrella. Adventures BC
Travel Cooperative is a member of Learning & Enrichment Alliance
Canada, Canadian membership-based organization made possible through
the support of the Canadian Tourism Commission.
